CORTNEY HOLMES is a husband, father, preacher, leader, and itinerary speaker. Cortney was born in Hayti Missouri, and grow up in St Louis Missouri. Because of the environment around him, his mother moved him and his older brother to Aurora Colorado. At birth, Cortney’s hearing tubes were tied. Wasn't till age 4 that Cortney’s father noticed something was wrong with his hearing. After the surgery, Cortney’s hearing was fixed subsequently he developed a speech impediment due to his hearing delays. Seeing that he developed a stutter, Cortney experienced a lot of bullying and humiliation throughout the majority of his life. Ultimately this made Cortney embarrassed, and afraid to speak. Despite the ridicule, he faced from others it was unequivocal to the call that the Lord placed on his life. The bullying and humiliation didn't deter, Cortney from continuing his schooling by attending the University of Northern Colorado. Cortney is a first-generation college graduate with a bachelor's degree in Human Communication. Cortney is also a recipient of college award “inspirational student”. The very thing people made fun of him for, is now the thing Cortney got his degree in “public speaking”. God allowed him to get a degree in his disability. Cortney furthered his education by attending Christ For The Nations Institute (CFNI). He received a Degree in Ministerial Studies with an emphasis on pastoral care. After graduating from Christ For The Nations Institute, Cortney is licensed and ordained through Christ For The Nations Network. Cortney is a first-generation ordained minister.

Cortney served as a young adult leader at The Potter’s House of Denver, CO. He served faithfully until he moved to Dallas, Texas to attend Christ for the Nations Institute. Following his acceptance into Bible college, Cortney received a scholarship from The Potter’s House of Dallas for his schooling. Cortney served as a young adult leader at The Potter’s House Dallas while attending CFNI. After graduating Cortney and his wife served as youth pastors at Dayspring Church in Arlington, Tx. Currently, Cortney is an itinerary speaker. He also has a YouTube page titled “Cortney J. Holmes -The Victory Channel”. He uses that platform to share devotionals, teach/preach the Word of God, and to share testimonial videos. Cortney is passionate about empowering the body of Christ with the victory of Jesus Christ.
